Man Utd managers since Ferguson: every record compared
Games, wins, draws, losses, win percentage and silverware for every man to sit in the dugout since 2013, in all competitions.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, United have had 12 spells in charge across 726 games, and won 7 trophies between them. Here is every one of those spells side by side, so the arguments in the pub can at least start from the same numbers.
- Best win rate of the permanent appointments: José Mourinho, 58.3% from 144 games.
- Worst: Ruben Amorim, 38.1% from 63 games.
- Michael Carrick now: 51.9% from 27 games since Jan 2026, but 2 wins from 10 in 2026-27 (20.0%).

What the numbers say
Win percentage isn't everything. Mourinho's numbers came with a dressing room that fell apart, and Solskjær's came with a lot of nights that felt better than the football. But over a hundred-odd games the table doesn't lie much, and the gap between what United expect and what they've had since 2013 is right there in the last column.
